Hi there. Bethel is infecting Australian churches. I need to speak to a lady who is leading people in deliverance ministry that is similar to Sozo. Could I perhaps get some advice?
Is there anyone else out there whose daughter left to go to 'Bible School' at Bethel in Redding and never came home, who cut off ALL family and friends- even an 88 yr old grandmother who weeps for them?
Yes I do believe there are so many families suffering from this. This is a tactic of the cults. You are not alone…Bethel has done a lot of damage to families. There is hope though.
In my experience, this Bethel Church sozo nonsense can divide apart families. I know, it is sad, but that is what cults do. Peace to you!
I went to a Sozo session and it ruined my marriage and possibly my relationship with my family. This practice is not deliverance but rather hypnosis. I now know this for sure as I am now a psychology student. There was much controversy surrounding this type of practice many years ago. If you need help speak to a specialist or talk to your pastor. Avoid Sozo at all cost.
It's has ruined my marriage as well. My husband is under investigation and I have lost finances. This was not helpful at all. People should not be allowed to play in the minds of other people through hypnosis. The people leading the sessions are not properly trained to deal with real issues such as depression. Especially without a license.

Especially without a license. I am now a psychology student as well. I didn't see it at first but my husband was right. It is a cult designed to isolate you away from everything that you love. Jesus is the true healer. Turn to him and not towards overnight schemes made by people. Some thorns are meant to stay to give us a stronger testimony. Don't get caught up in the web of deceit.
The comments above are right on. Sozo is a clever attempt at drawing a cult following. These Sozo victims don’t know their freedoms have been hijacked. Sozo hides behind the Bible when it contradicts it left and right. This is religious and spiritual abuse, hypnosis and trance work. Stay away from Sozo, unless you want your entire family (parents, grandparents, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, etc.) to be totally ruined!
